The Challenge
Replacing two outdated oil-free screw compressors had to both meet the highest quality requirements with regards to compressed air and ensure significant operating cost savings.
The BOGE Solution
Initially one, then two additional T 220 turbo compressors that cover a compressed air requirement of 90 m³/min at a pressure of 7.6 bar. Thanks to the heat recovery option and airtelligence provis 3 interlocking control, savings and optimisation potential can be implemented.
The result
Up to 35 per cent energy savings and an associated decrease in operating costs as well as improved flexibility when it comes to positioning the compressors.
