Low-wear piston compressors with extremely compact design: BOGE’s PO series provides reliably oil-free compressed air.
Hidden in some lubricants and plasticisers, there is a group of materials that is the leading cause of errors in paint shops: paint-wetting impairment substances, or simply PWIS. That’s why BOGE will be focussing specifically on its oil-free and PWIS-free compressed air technologies at the PaintExpo in Karlsruhe. The compressed air expert from Bielefeld will be presenting such products as its PO series piston compressors, EO series scroll compressors and bluekat technology at the world’s leading trade fair for industrial coating technology from 26-29 April. BOGE will be represented at the shared Deutsche Forschungsgesellschaft für Oberflächenbehandlung e. V. (DFO) stand 3120 in Hall 3.
A tiny blister on a freshly painted hood? Totally unthinkable. PWIS-free compressed air isn’t just vital for carmakers – any paint-wetting impairment substances that might get into the surface painting process will have a huge effect on quality. But compressed air specialist BOGE offers just the right product from its product portfolio for sensitive applications – the totally oil-free piston compressors in the PO series are able to produce high-quality compressed air with especially low-wear operation. The company’s EO scroll compressors also operate completely free of oil, and are known for their quiet, low-vibration running. For particularly sensitive areas, BOGE has developed its bluekat technology: firstly, the oil-free bluekat screw compressors produce class 0 oil-free compressed air, meaning that there is no need for subsequent condensate processing. In addition, the BOGE bluekat converter guarantees high-quality class 0 compressed air. A catalytic converter actively converts the oils and hydrocarbons contained in the compressed air into water and CO2 without any drop in air quality, regardless of the hydrocarbon content of the ambient air. bluekat technology is also used to absorb silicones, ensuring the compressed air remains demonstrably oil-free, silicone-free and pathogen-free at the output from the catalytic converter.
BOGE will be presenting all these proven technologies with the help of screens and roll-up banners at the PaintExpo fair in Karlsruhe, Germany. As a member of the German Research Association for Surface Treatment (German initials: DFO), BOGE will be exhibiting as part of its shared stand. The DFO specialises in researching surface treatments and sharing its research findings in the sector. After a series of successful joint research projects with the Association, BOGE continues to positively value the synergies created by the partnership.
BOGE experts will be happy to discuss any issues or answer any questions trade visitors to the PaintExpo fair in Karlsruhe from 26 - 29 April may have regarding oil-free and PWIS-free compressed air technologies at the shared DFO Stand 3120 in Hall 3.
EO series scroll compressor compress air completely oil-free and are so quiet and compact that they can be installed close to any workplace.
