PROJECT

Conception of a new compressed air system with the requirement for the highest cleanliness and maximum cost-effectiveness

PROJECT INFOS

How the oldest private brewery (“Altbier” brewery) in Germany is preparing for the future

The challenge
Bolten sought a solution for the complete replacement of the existing oil-free compressed air system, which would combine maximum cost-effectiveness with the highest degree of purity. It was also important to stand out against competitor concepts and ensure a 100% oil-free compressed air supply, which must also prove to be particularly costeffective in the long term.

The BOGE solution
The combination of frequency-controlled screw compressors and bluekat converters presented a completely safe solution. It is also particularly economical (not only in comparison with the dry rotors that it was set to replace) and extremely quiet at the same time. In contrast to activated carbon adsorbers, the carbon content of the converters does not have to be changed every year, which is reflected in the pleasingly low maintenance costs.

The result
A sophisticated solution that entails minimal maintenance, and which – thanks to its integrated protective mechanisms – offers the highest degree of safety against the penetration of oil.
