The challange
The design of a new overall system for the supply of compressed air was required for the coating plants at KSI. The system should operate reliably and exploit any potential for efficiency enhancement to the fullest extent.
The BOGE solution
After a precise analysis of the operating conditions, a tailor-made system solution was developed which would make significant savings in the production of compressed air.
The result
The optimal harmonisation of all the components, the elimination of leaks in the old system and the reduction in pressure from 9.6 to 8.5 bar resulted in annual cost savings of more than 13,000 €.
